These Terms are an agreement between you and SecXChat (“SecXChat”, “we”, “us”) for the use of the SecXChat app and website. By creating an account or using SecXChat you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use SecXChat.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) and able to accept these Terms.
- Register with a phone number you own. Keep your verification codes, two-step PIN and chat-lock PINs private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information, and do not create accounts in someone else’s name or to get around a ban.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use SecXChat to:
- send spam, bulk or automated messages, chain messages or unwanted promotions (including through broadcast lists);
- harass, threaten, bully, defame or impersonate anyone, including SecXChat staff;
- share content that is illegal, sexually exploits minors, promotes violence or terrorism, or infringes others’ rights (including copyright and privacy);
- commit fraud or scams, including fake payment proofs, phishing or requests for verification codes;
- access accounts or data you are not allowed to, scrape the service, reverse-engineer it, or interfere with its security or availability (for example by malware or overloading it).
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or ban accounts that break these Terms or the law, and we may act on reports from other users. If your account is banned you can submit an appeal from the ban screen.
3. Your content
You own the content you send and post. You give SecXChat a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, transmit and display it only as needed to operate and improve the service (for example to deliver a message, show a post to the audience you chose, or keep a backup). Public community posts may be seen, shared and reacted to by other users. You are responsible for having the rights to what you share.
4. Features
- Broadcast messages are sent as individual messages and only reach recipients who have saved your number. Broadcast lists are limited in size and in how often they can be used, to prevent spam.
- Calls need a working internet connection; quality depends on your network. SecXChat is not a replacement for a phone service and cannot be used to call emergency services.
- SecXChat AI answers are generated automatically and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
- Invite a friend lets you share an invite link. Inviting someone does not currently earn rewards.
5. Wallet
- The in-app wallet holds a balance that can be used inside SecXChat, for example to pay for SecX Verified. The balance is shown in the currency of your account’s country.
- Ways to add money and to withdraw are shown in the app and may not be available in every country or at all times. Withdrawals are requests that we review before paying out, and may need identity or payment-account checks.
- We may correct balances that result from errors, fraud, chargebacks or misuse, and may freeze a wallet while we investigate. The wallet is not a bank account, does not earn interest and is not covered by deposit-protection schemes.
- Keep the details of every transaction. Report a problem with a payment within 30 days through Help and feedback.
6. SecX Verified subscription
- SecX Verified is an optional paid subscription (monthly or yearly) paid from your wallet balance. The current benefits and prices are shown on the Subscriptions page before you buy.
- If auto-renew is on, the subscription renews at the end of each period and the price is taken from your wallet. If your balance is too low, the subscription ends. You can turn auto-renew off at any time; you keep the benefits until the end of the paid period.
- Payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where we decide otherwise (for example after a technical error). We may change prices or benefits for future periods and will show the new terms before you renew or buy again.
- The verified badge shows an active subscription. It does not mean SecXChat has checked or endorses the person behind the account. We may remove the badge or end a subscription for accounts that break these Terms.
7. Third-party services
Some parts of SecXChat rely on other services (for example SMS and email delivery, payment providers and the AI model provider). Their own terms may apply, and we are not responsible for services we do not control.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep SecXChat fast and available but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. We may update these Terms; the new effective date will be shown here and, for important changes, in the app. Continuing to use SecXChat after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using SecXChat and delete your account at any time in Settings › Account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the service. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as content licences needed for already-sent messages, wallet corrections and limits of liability) survive termination.
10. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, SecXChat is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, for loss of data or profits, or for content sent by other users. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to SecXChat in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of [country / jurisdiction to be added by the operator], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless the law of your country requires otherwise. Questions about these Terms: support@secxchat.com or Settings › Help and feedback › Contact us.
